  • Can CBD help with pain?   CBD may help to reduce pain by acting on a variety of biological processes in the body. CBD has been shown to work as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic. CBD may also reduce the anxiety that people living with chronic pain often experience.

  • Is CBD FDA Approved? To date, the FDA has not approved a marketing application for cannabis for the treatment of any disease or condition. The agency has, however, approved one cannabis-derived drug product: Epidiolex (cannabidiol), and three synthetic cannabis-related drug products: Marinol (dronabinol), Syndros (dronabinol), and Cesamet (nabilone). These approved drug products are only available with a prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. Importantly, the FDA has not approved any other cannabis, cannabis-derived, or cannabidiol (CBD) products currently available on the market.   

  • Can my pet take CBD? Research on CBD is in its early stages, but some studies and anecdotal evidence have found that it may be helpful in treating conditions like anxiety, pain, cancer, and arthritis. CBD pet products are marketed as a natural way to treat these conditions in dogs and cats.

  • Is CBD Legal in the United States? All in all, hemp and CBD oil are considered federally legal in all 50 states. Anyone in the United States can legally buy CBD oil on health store shelves, some pet stores, and the internet. (Delta 9 THC < .3%) 

  • What methods can you take CBD products? Sublingual (Tinctures), Oral (Edibles), Topical (Salves & Lotions), Inhaling (Flower & Vape)
  • Does CBD products help with stress and anxiety?  CBD products may assist in reducing stress and anxiety.  Current research on animals show positive results for reduce stress and anxiety.  Studies are currently in progress for the human benefits of CBD use.  
  • What is the difference between a Broad Spectrum and a Full/Whole Spectrum CBD tincture?  The Broad spectrum will have all of the Delta 9 THC removed.  The Full or Whole may contain levels up to .3% of Delta 9 THC to meet the legal requirements to sell CBD products.
